Koryx Accelerates Namibian Copper Project with C$250M Plan

Canadian mining firm Koryx has launched a C$250 million strategy for 2025 to expedite the Haib Copper initiative in southern nambia.
The strategy includes an extensive drilling and study program covering over 55,000 m to enhance the size and grade of the project’s mineral resource estimate. The company has increased the number of drilling rigs from three to six to fast-track the drilling campaign.
A pre-feasibility study for the mine is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, with mining and environmental baseline studies set to begin in Q3 2025. Koryx plans to publish a preliminary economic assessment in Q3 2025.
The program will integrate historical drilling and study data with updated analyses to accelerate the development of the mine, aiming to transform the asset into a producer of clean copper concentrate and refined copper cathodes, according to Heye Daun, President of Koryx Copper.
